The texture is thick, not watery, and the heat comes from a blend of jalapeno and habanero peppers. There's no vinegary aftertaste, either, like you'll find in many store brands. Pepper Dog Hot Salsa is fiery enough to satisfy your need for some burn (we consider it to be medium-hot), but not so fiery that it will overpower your tastebuds.
